Tim Hortons Propoganda

Propaganda isn’t complex. It takes on basic forms in an attempt to appeal to the broadest (and most simplistic) of the population in an attempt to win mass appeal. Using this theoretical framework I honed in on one of my home-countries’ most recognizable and popular brands, Tim Horton’s.

The result was a series of posters inspired by Soviet -style propaganda circa 1920-40s. The similarities between these two ideologies are, in my opinion, rather noticeable, and these designs were an attempt at exploring this contemporary intersection of ideals.
